Sinterklaas has left the country, so before you know it, it’s Christmas and New Year’s Eve again! We’re happy to inform you what the holidays mean for our webshop delivery times and the opening hours of our brewpub. Webshop Delivery Times Are you still looking for gifts for Christmas or New Year’s? Then please take our adjusted webshop delivery times into account. We will ship orders at these moments: Monday 22 December 09:00 Monday 29 December 09:00 Make sure you place your order before these times if you want it included in the shipment. Orders placed after 29 December 09:00 will be shipped from 5 January onwards. Brewpub Opening Hours Around Christmas and New Year’s, our brewpub will be open as usual on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with a few exceptions. We will be closed on the following days: Thursday 25 December Friday 26 December Saturday 27 December Thursday 1 January On all other days, you are very welcome during our regular opening hours to raise a glass to the holidays: Thursday 16:00–23:00 Friday 12:00–23:00 Saturday 12:00–23:00 The entire team of De Magistraat wishes you wonderful Christmas holidays and a beautiful start to the new year!

Scheepstimmerman awarded with gold medal at Dutch Beer Challenge 2024

During the award ceremony of the tenth edition of the Dutch Beer Challenge, we won a prize, a big one! Our Scheepstimmerman was awarded the gold medal in the 'Tripel' category, making it the best tripel in the Netherlands. We are quite proud of this, and it is a crowning achievement of the hard work of our entire team. But above all, it is an encouragement to continue our daily commitment to producing high-quality beer. We will go to great lengths for that. The Dutch Beer Challenge is a competition for commercially available beers. The beers are submitted in categories. The beers are blind tasted and judged by a jury of beer sommeliers and other independent experts on aroma, color, flavor, and technical quality.
